Engagement Season is upon us and with that comes so many new engagement sessions being taken, plus so many new inquiries for wedding couples getting married in the new year! I am so excited to be sharing this romantic Dallas engagement session with Ernesto and Maria!
She wore a stunning red dress that matched so perfectly with downtown Dallas! Shooting in downtown can be tricky sometimes with events going on in the Dallas Arts District. it wasn’t the case for their day though! The weather was perfect and I honestly love that pop of red in all their images! We got a variety of different photographs and then moved over to something a bit more casual and earthy. White Rock lake.
One of my absolute favorite engagement session locations is White Rock Lake. I cannot stop raving about this location. I shoot here often and end up with so many different looks to sessions all the time! The one consistent thing here though is light and being able to play with it, while still capturing the genuine emotions of each couple!
Maria chose a long flowy deep wine colored gown for this second spot. The greens of the tall grass and bright sun really made everything complement so well! We had a little more fun here, walking and laughing and just letting them relax and have fun! Which is how your engagement session should be, a fun day of you two walking around all dressed up and me being like a third wheel kind of! 🙂
I am so excited for their summer 2019 wedding and know we will have so much fun with Ernesto and Maria on their wedding day!
