Hidden Pines Chapel Wedding

I’m so glad this couple opted for a first look.  That allowed me as the wedding photographer to capture the intimate moment and also plenty of time for portraits during daylight. Since their ceremony was help after sundown, nothing beats portraits in natural light.  Joanna and Michael are so much fun to be around! Bubbly personalties and dancing all night long made this reception so much fun to document.

Special details:  Everything.

Imagine a wedding where everything was designed and created by the bride.  Well here you have it.  Joanna is a designer and she designed her own wedding dress, bridesmaids dress (though her friend, Angie who was also a bridesmaid, sewed the dresses), her invitation suites and everything as far as decor for the ceremony,and the reception.  Yes! All of it. As I witnessed the entire wedding day at Hidden Pines Chapel unfold it was even more amazing seeing all the effort and time it must have taken to do it all and bring it all together.  It was such a fun, and colorful day.  Pay close attention to the designs and you’ll see just how perfectly each piece almost like a puzzle fits together.  You can see more of her bridal portraits here.
