Lauren and Kirk’s wedding at Five Oaks Farm in Cleburne Texas is one I won’t soon forget! Lauren is a creative, DIY, city life, kind of gal and Kirk is a country boy through and through. When I met Lauren and Kirk last year I asked her what made her decide on this gorgeous white barn. Her response was, it had the perfect touch of elegance and still had a rustic feel that was the perfect setting she wanted for her wedding. She incorporated her love of modern chic, vintage, and bohemian into her details with different elements of Gold, rose gold, and touches of silver. She had a beautiful dream of green foliage for the reception, rectangular and round tables with carefully coordinated vintage place settings and geometric pieces and succulents. A gold leaf wedding cake and so many other gorgeous, unique details. There was a stylish and wonderfully made teepee made out of birchwood and adorned with foliage that matched the reception and the ceremony.
The flower girls and their unique flower baskets and ring bearer boys made the day extra special and I had no doubt that these littles played an important role in Lauren and Kirk’s lives. I especially loved the special handwritten note that the ring bearer boys carried before Lauren followed walking down the aisle to her groom. You see, those boys call Kirk “Captain” and Lauren “Uncle Lolly”!
The day ended with a sparkler exit and a drive off in a vintage car!
The entire day was filled with pure joy and I’m so excited to finally be able to share this gorgeous wedding with you all.
