Tuscany Hill Mckinney Wedding

Telling HyeJin and Matt’s story today is such an honor! I am extremely honored to have met these two beautiful souls and to have been so lucky to have celebrated their Tuscany Hill Mckinney wedding!

It’s always so fun to ask a couple how they met, but to me it’s even better hearing the actual stories from their closest friends and family! I really enjoy hearing first hand the speeches they maid of honor, best man, or Father’s give! I learned on Hyejin and Matt’s wedding day just how destined they were to meet. Had HyeJin not been brave enough to come from her native country of South Korea to study abroad.  She would have never met Sweet ol’ Matt!

They dated throughout college in Oklahoma and he later proposed! It was extra special to me as their photographer to hear how their loved blossomed and then being able to tell their story on the actual wedding day! A day they’ll remember forever!

HyeJin’s parents and family traveled from South Korea for their daughter’s wedding and I loved how she had her American dad, Kevin ( the family that adopted her into their lives during her study years) walk her halfway down the aisle. Then he handed her to her real father! oh let’s not forget just how cute her nephew was with the sign that read ” I’m just here for the popsicles and the new uncle”!How adorable was that??!

When you first drive up the dirt raod that leads to the wedding venue. You start to see it’s beauty! This wedding venue sits on top of a hill and it was the perfect scenery for their sunset photos! You would honestly think this wasn’t Mckinney! I love how this venue really reminds you of an Italian Villa!
