Stonegate Mansion in Fort Worth was the perfect location for this sweet couple! I’ll have to take you back to how they met and how destiny aligned everything so perfectly. While doing their fort worth engagement session, Lindsey and Eric told me they met at TCU specifically at the music hall. So it was so great they chose to do their session there and keep it in the heart of Fort Worth! I got to know them pretty well that day and laughed and talked about the little things they planned for their wedding day!
Fast forward to the actual wedding day at Stonegate. The day was sunny and perfect. Lindsey was getting hair and makeup done and Eric was doing what normal grooms do on a wedding day. Wait and be told where to go and what to do 🙂
They opted for a first look and I was a ball of fuzzies as soon as Lindsey walked out. There Eric stood waiting to hear her walk behind him. You could see his nervousness and his excitement! I had no idea it was going to be as emotional as it was! Lindsey was already a face full of tears after she was stepped out to walk to Eric. You could hear her say “oh my goodness, I haven’t even made it to him yet!” Eric’s expression changed to giddy as he could hear Lindsey’s footsteps get closer and closer. There she embraced him, hugged him from behind and held tightly in that moment for a few seconds before he turned around and saw her for the first time! It’s been the most beautiful first look I’ve witnessed in such a while!
And with that moment of seeing each other for the very first time on their wedding day, it set the tone! A beautiful, romantic and genuine moment that was followed by so many more throughout the day!
Lindsey chose blush pinks and greys and whites as her main colors with a soft Stars Wars theme because well I came to find out later that day that Lindsey and Eric had their first date at the Movies and saw a Stars Wars Movie! I hope to later post the video clip from Everlasting Films so you all can hear what a wonderful speech one of Eric’s Best men told. He had even brought the first Stars Wars plush toy Monkey, Eric had given to Lindsey during the speech. Truly one of the best speeches of all time!
I’ll quit talking now and let you all enjoy the sweet images from their Stonegate Mansion Fort Worth Wedding!
