I am so excited to share this new Cigar Lounge editorial that is featured in the latest issue of Brides of North Texas Magazine! You can see more of our featured work of Brides of North Texas here.
I got very excited when Brides of North Texas reached out to have me photograph this Cigar lounge Editorial. This shoot was designed by Shannon Rose and her unique take on the details will amaze you. Cocktail hour is sometimes overlooked and her design will give every bride and groom great ideas to add to their wedding day!
The classic venue is traditional and full of southern charm. The Milestone in Denton TX was the perfect venue for this Cigar Lounge editorial. It’s white exterior and black shutters give it the perfect contrast.
Shannon was inspired by the emerald velvet sofa from Propmaker. In her words, “The couch’s velvet fabric reminded me of a sofa that you might see at a cigar lounge, so I thought it would be a unique idea for couples that are looking to have something different for their guests during cocktail hour. I wanted the lounge to feel like we were taking the inside outside, so we placed a modern fireplace along with a seating area, and propmaker created a bar for guests to grab drinks, while their customized cigars would be made by hand. Sarah Ann Design created a modern program for guests to read during cocktail hour to helps them get to know the bride and groom and learn more about their love story. I kept the color scheme simple and classic, which can be seen not only in the flowers but also in their Bride & Groom’s attire. The bride wore an elegant satin wedding dress, and the groom wore a classic black tux provided by Pence & Panache.”
