Fort Worth Engagement Session at Hotel Drover

An Engagement session at the iconic Autograph collection Hotel Drover in Fort Worth? It was a definite yes to shooting Courtney and Calvin’s engagement photos there. I was able to ask how they met and learned right away their deep love for horses and the country Texas love they found in each other. They met while at a rodeo years ago and became friends and also began dating. The both did competitions and instantly hit it off.

Choosing the Stockyards in Fort Worth was a no brainer for them as they were set to have their wedding at the distinguished in style hotel in a few months. WE were able to walk around and take advantage of the many photo opportunities the hotel has. The lovely courtyard that has a view of a creek below, landmarks and of course it’s Texas style architecture.

I really enjoyed getting to know them and just have fun walking all throughout the Hotel. We talked all things horses, wedding and just letting them be themselves. WHich is the number one thing I tell all couples. Don’t look at your engagement session anything else than just a date. We’ll have fun, capture some wonderful photos and it won’t feel awkward at all! Goal accomplished!
