Lindsey and Eric met when they both attended college at TCU, Texas Christian University. I love to give tips to brides and grooms for their engagement session. I always mention location suggestions. One of the things I make sure to tell couples is to think of a place that has some meaning to them. If nothing comes to mind. These are a few things to consider. Think about background colors and what the overall aesthetic they like to have. Try not to match clothing, instead compliment colors and patterns. You can wear bold colors, but it’s always best if the background will be more neutral. Same goes for neutral clothing. They go perfectly everywhere!
It was very nice to see that Lindsey and Eric chose to stay on the side of Fort Worth and to do it where their story began at their alma mater, TCU. TCU has a lot of architecture and lovely hidden spots that are a photographer’s haven. It was such a fun engagement session!
As we walked around the campus, they reminisced about how they met at The Music Hall and how life was sweeter after that moment! I enjoyed every moment with them. I’d like to mention that I’m not an overall funny gal, but I can at least make my couples very comfortable and les nervous about the shoot! Just ask all my past couples! 🙂 It was very fun hanging out with them that day laughing and talking about their upcoming wedding at The Stonegate Mansion which is also in Fort Worth.
Lindsey and Eric decided on two outfits for their TCU engagement session. One more formal and the other casual. I loved the softness of the colors of the formal outfits against the different backgrounds of the TCU campus. I tried to find different textures that would go well with both outfits and as you sift through these images, I’m sure you’ll agree. Everything was complimented very well! I cannot wait to hang out with these in just a few short months!
