Maggie + Miles

 

I’m so excited to be sharing Maggie and Miles Fort Worth Japanese Garden wedding with you all today!

Maggie and Miles had met through mutual friends, after a while he asked her on a date and the rest is as people say History!  When Miles proposed he had planned an entire date full of adventures which ended with the actual proposal on a hot air balloon. You can read a little more of their story and see their Dallas engagement photos too here.  They had their engagement session at a private quarry! Maggie mentioned growing up in Miami and missing the beach life so we found a pretty water location to at least give the look to their engagement session! But enough about the engagement, let’s talk about the exciting wedding day!

Maggie began her day at the Ashton Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. While Miles hung out with the guys at another hotel!

They opted for a first look to ease the nerves before the ceremony and the Japanese Gardens is a hidden gem of paths and beautiful scenery wherever you turn.  The Japanese Gardens at Fort Worth Botanical Garden is pretty much green all year long, and it’s such a beautiful venue if you love the outdoors!  Her ceremony was held in the Moon viewing deck. Violinists played for the procession.  Gorgeous white floral arrangements from Platinum Petal lined the front of the aisle. The Bridesmaids wore a pale blue color, while the groomsmen just wore Navy tuxes.

The reception was held in the Pavilion overlooking the Japanese Garden pond. The tables were adorned with English white roses, greenery and succulents. The wedding cake was a three tiered white cream cake with simple ranunculus adorned and succulents! The simplicity of the details was so perfect with the Garden setting!

It was a joy to watch Miles and Maggie celebrate with their friends and family! We wish them both many years of happiness and love!
