When I first met Sussana and Saadi several months ago it was for an anniversary session.  They wanted heirloom photographs they could hang in their new home and  I was ecstatic to be able to do that for them! I couldn’t believe the good news when she told me they were expecting their first child and that she’d soon want to document the pregnancy. It’s always so important to document the important times in your life. To freeze them and capture them on film, forever. Tangible memories you can always look back on! Motherhood photography really is such a joy to do!

Sussana wanted a maternity session more lifestyle and organic. A natural set of images that were more candid and indoor. I hope I did her, Saadi and their love for one another justice.  I cannot wait to meet their new baby girl!

The light that sifted in that afternoon was so serene.  Still moments. Moments in which the parents to be patiently wait on the new baby to come. There was such a peace that day and I can’t help but see the same eace all throughout these images.
