This Winter wedding at Brik Venue in Fort Worth was so beautiful and colorful. Clay and Olivia had recently moved to Denver so having KC from Cloud Creative Events plan and coordinate everything was beyond perfect.

 

The details of the wedding day were remarkable.  Clay is such a romantic and it was evident in the details that became a part of their wedding day.  He composed a piece of music called Incandescent Sky in the days leading up to the wedding day.  I imagined as I heard it play just as everyone else in the room, that it was a beautiful poem played out by a string of violins and violoncellos.  Such an amazing piece.  It has truly been one of the most remarkable things I have witnessed at a wedding.  Clay had dabbled a bit in composing and it shows just how a sure genius and a man in love he is.

Olivia’s hints of vintage details for the wedding and the industrial look of Brik venue were perfectly combined.  I also couldn’t help but fall in love with Moss Floral’s designs.  Beautiful cranberry reds and a few hints of pinks were such a delight to see.

I especially love when couples opt for doing a first look on the wedding day and allotting extra time for portraits which was perfect for this winter wedding since the sun sets earlier in the day.  It allowed time to do the first look and then do all portraits right after.  Allowing them to relax a bit before the ceremony.

Brik is known for it’s brick walls and the organic feel you can still get from having your wedding here.  It sure does make for wonderful portraits and different looks.
